Driving Directions to Station:  From Business Highway 67 in the city limits of Poplar Bluff, turn on Business Highway 60.  (This highway only turns to the east from Highway 67.)  Continue on Business Highway 60 to Second Street.  Turn right (south) on Second Street.  Continue approximately three blocks to station on left.

The Amtrak station is located in the former Missouri Pacific depot in downtown Poplar Bluff. This is an un-staffed station; the waiting area is unlocked prior to train time.  A public pay telephone is available inside the station.

Southeast Missouri Transportation Service (SMTS) is a non-governmental, non-profit passenger transportation service available to riders of all ages.  SMTS transportation services are available throughout South Central and Southeast Missouri.  SMTS offers local service, long distance medical service and special services.  The local service begins and ends at your front door, with stops provided for shopping, medical appointments, nutrition, recreation and personal business.  Long distance medical service links rural residents with state-of-the-art medical technology. SMTS also provides special services for groups and organizations on a contract basis.

SMTS is funded by a variety of sources; however, riders are provided with the opportunity to make a donation toward their ride.  All rider donations are confidential.
